Greenflies - is anybody else walking through a plague of them?

Here in north london there seems to be swarms of them.

Less concerned about the garden than that they are ALL OVER MY CLEAN WASHING, which is hanging on the line!

I'm in SE London and walked through several big clouds of them at lunchtime. Am convinced a couple of dozen went straight up my nose (blee!).

Yes, my mindee had one on his tongue - nice! Bit of protein...

Convinced I have them in my eyes - or is that pollen??

Yes, North London here and there are millions of the blighters, clouds of them.
