Delayed bulbs

I missed planting my daffs and tulip bulbs late last year due to being heavily pregnant then having a wee baby. Can I still put them in the ground now for next spring or shall I wait or are they now redundant?

I think, if you're going to plant them at all, I would do it now, with the idea that they may grow some leaves and settle themselves in, and if you are lucky..flower next year. It depends too on the condition of the bulbs...do they look healthy and plump still or dried up?

This answer is only my gut feeling, I don't know for sure...anyone else know?
