I found this while looking for inspiration. Am in awe of this couple - what imagination! Makes my efforts looking piddly in comparison! Envy

That is wonderful :)

Well I admit that is a feat of good gardening. But it is not to my taste. It's a bit too well done and polished for me.

This is lovely but i could never garden like that.

I am more the if i like it i grow it type. I dont match colours or organise my plants. so at the moment my raised triple bed is a mix of white lilies, orange and yellow marigolds, fushia in reds and pinks, geranium in reds, pinks and whites, Anemone in blue, carnations in red and pink and a few other bits and pieces that i think look pretty.

Wow! That's amazing. It makes me think of a miniature Butchart Gardens!

CuttedUpPear · 17/08/2012 22:49

I'm sorry but I find it disgusting. Twee and overcooked.

And - crazy paving.

Sorry, I'm a garden designer, you'd never get anything looking like that from me.

Personally I think it's hideous. But well done to them, they must have worked very hard and if it makes them happy that's all that matters.

HumphreyCobbler · 17/08/2012 22:56

I too think it is rather hideous. But I am sure they like it and it obviously took a lot of skill to make it.

BehindLockNumberNine · 17/08/2012 22:58

No, not my taste, too twee and busy and ornamental...

Whilst I have no clue when it comes to gardens (lawn and borders is my lot) I prefer that to the busyness of that garden...

I do envy them their green-fingeredness though.
