lawn is in need of a mow and the hedge needs trimming. have a big bin in front of the house.
am I going to need a fast composter/wormery?
how do I get the cuttings through the house without having to clean after me?

Use garden waste bags. I also have a compost bin and probably do 50/50.

You can also get thick, strong plastic sacks called "rubble bags" that are much less likely to split or leak as you carry them through the house.

They are only the size of a pillow as it is expected that you will be carrying them with heavy stuff inside.

You can reuse them but nails or rose thorns will go through.

do you not have access round the back of the other houses in the terrace?
