Hi, hoping you lovely gardening mums can help me; I have a fence on the south side of my garden and my dad has made me a raised "shelf" type arrangement to put pots on. Only problem is the pots only get shade, no sun at all. Is there anything that will grow successfully in these conditions?

Hostas
Perennial geraniums
Primulas/primroses
Hellibores
Ferns
Fox gloves

Obviously some of the above are tall, otehrs smaller plants. some have flowers in spring, some no flowers etc just foliage.

Look on www.plantsforshade.co.uk/
They have a fantastic selection. I use them all the time and my shady borders are packed with interesting things.
