Does anyone one else have this?
I mulched the garden a few weeks back, mix of our own compost plus similar sourced from garden centre. For the past few days the fly plague has increased such that the south-facing exterior wall was smothered in them - think Amityville Horror. DS left the conservatory door open yesterday; had to use fly spray (which I hate). Hoping tonights' heavy frost will reduce the garden numbers for me....
I'm wondering if they've come from the out-sourced compost, although have used the same product in previous years with no problems at all, and neighbours are ok.
