Is it too late to plant bare root hedging and what will happen if we plant it too late?

We desperately need to conceal and old wire fence which is ugly and full of gaps. I want to plant native hedging but it's a 60 meter strip and the cost is prohibitive unless we plant bare root. If we plant in the next couple of weeks will the plants just all die?

Bare root hedging is only sold in the dormant season, so if you can still buy it, you're ok to plant it now.
Make sure you water it daily for the first few weeks, especially if we have a dry spell.

Thanks cutteduppear. Have just ordered 1000 plants so looks like we're in for a fun Easter break!!!
