My azalea is in flower before my forsythia...what's that about?

I know it's a dull comment but no-one in RL is remotely interested Grin
I've had them both over 8 years and always the forsythia comes in first....
Azalea is looking a big smug frankly with some cheeky flowers.
BTW I expect precisely zero responses to this fascinating Saturday night thread!

I'm interested as my Forsythia has been late flowering this year although sadly I don't have any azalea flowers yet either so you are doing better than me!!
