I´m in Southern Germany and we have just got rid of the snow. I think we`ll stay above freezing now ... so it´s time to do some gardening ....
I THINK I need to rake up all the leaves hidden by the snow ... prune back most things (we were told not to do this in autumn as the weather is too unpredictable, but to wait til Spring). Then stick on some fertiliser ...
Does this sound about right? I am guessing ...
Also, how do I get really woody horrible looking lavender to be all willowy and lovely this year? It´s well established in the garden but is all knotty and gnarly.
