I have lots of space to fill and need rosemary, sage, lavender and other herbs to fill it. Can anyone recommend an online nursery that is reasonable quality but good prices too?

I've bought from norfolk herbs online before, plants was really well packaged and good quality, strong plants, I was quite happy with them.

Have you got a local Freecycle? It might be worth asking on there, I quite often freecycle excess plants. If there's a local gardening club or plant exchange you could try there too.

Summer village fairs and flower shows often have cheap plants going - 50p a pot or less. But you might want to buy and plant them much sooner.

Definitely ask around friends and neighbours as it's pretty easy to split sage, clumps of chives, oregano etc and rosemary is easy to grow from cutting. Lidl, Wilkinson's etc do cheap herb seeds which are pretty easy to start in the window sill. Keep an eye out at corner shops etc, my local one sells them for £1 each in the spring.
