I'm not particularly lawn proud but I can't see a reason for not cutting it (unless it's wet).

The kids toys are getting lost in the grass as the weather has been mild. At this rate it'll be up to my knees in April.

What do you reckon, any reason I shouldn't get the mower out? No fancy settings on mine, it's just a bog standard Flymo so can't adjust the blades.

TIA.

I still cut grass now for some clients but with mower blades set high and no more than once in 6 weeks. It does help with creating a tidy appearance and shifts the last of the leaves that get blown in from parkland nearby.

You may well have to cut it now (during a dry spell) because the mower would struggle by Spring. In weather like this you need to maintain a lawn year round but people forget ...

Any chance you could borrow a neighbour's height adjustable mower?
