will bulbs bought last year but never planted still be ok to plant this year?

They're daffodils and tulips. I never got round to planting them last year so was going to put them in this year. The dwarf daffodil bulbs seems really light as if they're hollowish - does that mean they're no good anymore or are they like that anyway?

Daffodils will probably be fine, IMHO. If you stick them in the ground they probably won't flower much next spring but should give a good display the following year.

Doubt the tulips will grow, but no harm sticking them in the ground and seeing what happens.

plant them all, bulbs can surprise you sometimes and anyway if only a few come up it will still come as a pleasant surprise

Thanks, didn't get round to it this weekend as too busy clearing dead foliage away but will plant them all next weekend and keep my fingers crossed!
