Hello, totally clueless gardener, here! Can I ask some (probably v stupid) questions about tomato plants, please?!

I really am THAT clueless...

Have picked the tomatoes which are red and the green ones are in a cardboard crate with a banana

But what do I do with the plants? Do I dig them up or just prune them back? Leave them? I really have no idea

Help!

Dig them up & compost them.
You start every year with toms :)
