Best place to buy plants and pots online?

Hi

I am kitting out our new garden and want to buy pretty much everything online for home delivery. (I have a grumpy 7wo and stroppy 2yo so leaving the house is more trouble than it's worth!!)

Does anyone have any experience using online garden centres for their plants and pots etc? I googled and found so many I don't know where to start!

Many thanks Smile

I love www.crocus.co.uk/Crocus and Suttons Seeds (they're not just about seeds). And I recently ordered some herbs from Norfolk Herbs. They were fantastic value - unbelievably luscious and and surprisingly large for the price.

Didn't we swap Ittis about a year ago?

Crocus has been fine. I sometimes get some good deals on the guardiangardencentre site. I like Burncoose too, but they aren't always cheap.

Hi Swampster (waves)

Yes we did!! I thought about you the other day actually, when I fished the strawberry itti out of the basket.....I actually thought what a shame I don't have the tiger print one still!! Grin I still can't get the little bugger darling to potty train.... apparantly today it was Thomas the Tank Engine who did a poo in his nappy and not him?!?

Got 2 in cloth now as I have DS3 age 7 weeks - I have to force the lid down on the second bucket to eke out the washing to every other day!Grin I am determined not to wash nappies every day, come what may!!

Hope you are OK. Oh, and thanks for the links - I had already had a peek around the crocus site but it is always helpful to get the opinion of someone who has used them! Smile

Congratulations on DS3. I have Three monsters DSs too. They are hell wonderful!

My tiger Ittis are still firm favourites - I have two.

Hello

I used crocus twice this year and have to admit they were very overpriced and delivery took longer on both occasions that i used them (annoying if you plan your planting for a certain time - but i cant suggest an alternative - so bumping for you incase anyone else knows of any sites

20% discount at Crocus with Gardeners' World

Thanks all. I am having a nose about the crocus site now! I can't wait to have a decent garden after 10 years of living in a house where the garden was smaller than the sitting room.....only problem is I didn't realise how expensive it would be to kit out the whole garden!

Still, will be worth it.

I have found Homebase to be good value and quite stylish and they often have sales. Good website too. Most of these shops have the same suppliers. Wink
