Landscape Gardenders - what sort of cost?

Hi,

Our garden is a mess. It's clear, but is 'raggy'. The lawn is patchy and 'field' like, we have compost bins that need moving and plants that need chopping and tidying.

I'm not sure how large the garden is, but it takes me about 2.5 - 3 hours to mow. There is also a 12ft x 12ft area which was once gravelled, but has since been taken over by weeds.

How much would it usually cost to have a landscape gardener to tidy up a garden like this, including time and materials? I know this is incredibly vague, but I don't want to call anyone for quotes if it's well out of my league.

Thank you! :)

P.S. I'm in Cheltenham

Depends if you are going for a landscape or a gardener to sort things out. A landscape involves complete makeover whereas a gardener will just tidy and make things workable.

Also depends on your skills as a gardener.

I know a very good landscape company (they did my garden) and are based in Epping so if that is what you are after I can pm you their contact details.

CQ's dp here. I am a landscaper by trade.
It would be impossible to give you any sort of estimate based on the info supplied.

Get some quotes. Tradesmen are well used to pricing and don't expect to get every job they tender for.
