Is it too late to plant bulbs (bluebells/ snowdrops)?

They were supposed to go in the ground between September and December and be planted shortly after buying. Three months on I've not had time but would they grow this spring if I planted them in the next week or so?

Bumping for you - because dp has some daffodil bulbs that he didn't get around to planting because of the snow.

if you've got them it's better that they're in the ground than not. they may not flower too well this year but they should be ok in the long run.

by the way, bluebells and snowdrops are better planted 'in the green', when they're up, just after flowering, so if you want to get ahead, buy some in February March and plant them then.

You can also put in summer bulbs now - alliums things like that.
