Does anyone have or know this plant?

Just researching it and keep finding various sites which say it has yellow leaves in autumn, green in spring. Or red leaves in autumn.

I thought it had green leaves turning black in autumn, or even black all year round. Very confused by talk of red and yellow. can anyone shed any light please?

Thank you!

Black lace elder. Sambucus nigra 'Black Lace' Has black finely cut leaves all the way through the growing season and lovely pink flowers which look amazing against the black lacy leaves.

Sambucus nigra - is ordinary elder with green leaves.
S.n. f. laciniata is ordinary elder with cut green leaves.

I've propagated black lace elder by using soft wood cuttings.

hope this helps

I left one of these behind when I moved house, it was lovely. Good contrast between the leaves and flowers. I think I will get another one.
