I've almost picked the last of the chantenay carrots and now fancy popping something else in the pots for us and the kids to enjoy!

Garlic, autumn planting onions, shallots.

In a short while broad beans.

You can get some winter salad mixes which you can sow up until the end of October (I think). You can also get winter spring onions (eg White Lisbon Winter Hardy) which will probably be fine to sow now too.

spinach and hardier lettuce. Or any old lettuce if you're planning on eating it young as it'll germinate in minutes at the moment if mine is anything to go by.

Oriental veg - tatsoi, pak choi etc, can usually be sown in september still. They like the cold weather.
