Homebase has oriental lily plants in tight bud, and I am tempted to buy some (ok, I bought one pot of 4 and am tempted to buy more!). Is this really silly - they look so lovely but will they flower before it frosts? And will the bulbs come up again next summer?
I have some other lily bulbs my mum gave me in spring (this is my first year with a garden). Do I leave them in the pots or will that make them rot away?
