Chicken wire ...

Hi

I need just a small amount of chicken wire to cover a plant pot (neighbours cat keeps pooing in it and my toddler puts his hand in it!)

However, we have checked all the obvious (to us!) - B&Q, Homebase, online ... and everywhere only sells in large quantities.

Apart from a request on Freecycle, does anyone know where I can buy a small amount?

TIA

Or, failing that, does anyone else have any other ideas? It is for a palm in a pot which we are loathed to get rid of ... :)

Look out for a dump on the side of the road.

Failing that, ask again at the garden centre - they may well have an odd bit with they can let you have cheaply.

I get mine from Countrywide and they sell it online as well. It costs next to nothing and it's worth keeping some around for other odd jobs around the garden. I use mine under the hedge to keep our dog in the garden but it is also good to use as a support for climbers.
