my garden seems to grow cat poo a lot

Fio2 · 25/08/2005 10:57

hahah thinking of cat poo, I chucked an old rug out the front to go on the skip once and a cat came along and pooed all over it. My husband came back in the house and said to me "fancy throwing that rug out the front after someone had pooed on it!!" and i was thinking wtf?! - did he really think one of me or the children had done it first?

Men!

My garden grows dead rabbits, mice, shrews and birds, thanks to the bl%dy cats.

Well done, Fio, I know that Kentish soil isn't always the easiest to cultivate - I'm impressed with your haul! Did you grow the toms, chillis and peppers outdoors? I'm sure it's too cold up here for that, dh said it was a whole 7degC when he went to work this am!

acnebride · 25/08/2005 13:53

Major impressment Fio2.

Now fruit ? So want some of these but have taken 2 years not to buy any.

oh damn I forgot about the sunflowers but ds planted those so cant really take the credit he said to me i am very impressed with these mummy, hehehe

Suedonim, I planted them all in large pots, hanging basket and the like in compost (john Innes!) so i cheated a bit and didnt use the 'ole kentish soil! All the chillis, toms and peppers were grown outside though. Quite impressive for a small yard i thought.

Accnebride, my next mission must be fruit now.....
