Is university accommodation now mostly mixed sex, these days?

Is all uni accommodation mixed these days? My flat at uni was 8 girls with a boys one next door. That was ideal. I would've hated to share with 8 stinking blokes. But from here all I seem to see is people mentioning mixed sex accommodation. Obv halls are mixed but it used to be floors of each sex as well.

Both my children (one just graduated this summer, the other one has just started university) could choose if they wanted single sex or mixed flats. Both were/are in 5 room flats and both ended up in flats with three girls and two boys.

My university halls was completely mixed, including corridors. DH’s too at different uni. This was late 90’s.

My four DCs were all in mixed sex halls, but DD1 and DD2 were in an all girls flat. DS’s flat was mixed, and DD3 (just started) is in a mixed flat. I have no idea whether DD1 and 2’s single sex flat was policy or coincidence.

DS was given the choice, when booking accommodation, if he wanted a mixed sex or single sex flat. He chose mixed-sex but it's ended up being all boys.

Mine was mixed sex halls but single sex flats in the 80s. All my shared houses for years 2 and 3 were mixed sex. My DCs halls recently have been mixed but ensuite so not sharing bathrooms.

Officially I was in an "all girl" block (that bad 12 rooms) but in reality thete was always boys staying anyway!

Mine are both in halls and said they were happy to have mixed sex flats. One DC has only female flatmates despite them all saying mixed was fine and the other is 3M-4F.

My DC have started at 3 different Universities within the last 5 years and they all had the choice of mixed or single sex accomodation. Well the halls were all mixed, but they had mixed and single sex flats within them. Back in the 80s when I was at University most of the traditional catered halls were all male or all female but I don't think that's usual anywhere now.

Mine was mixed in the mid-nineties. My friend’s DCs all seem to be in mixed halls now too.
I really liked being in mixed accommodation. I meant that we all mixed really easily. Don’t recall them being too smelly, either, unless you count a constant waft of Lynx Africa. Mind you, my house now has constant waft of Lynx Africa thanks to my teens!
