My DS wants to apply to Cambridge for Maths. He is a state school student. He is social and he plays football. He likes the look of older colleges. He is struggling to choose one to apply. We would like to choose a college that is not too expensive as well -accomodation and food wise. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I would ask MN to move this to the Higher Ed board with a title more like – Which Cambridge college to apply to?

You might get more responses. I don’t know which college but my understanding is that Cambs is cheaper than a lot of unis anyway.

What are his PGs? Has he done the entrance tests for maths? Is he year 13 now?

@Cratos I suggest you look at the title of your thread, and compare it to the titles of other threads on Mumsnet, then report your own thread and ask MNHQ to change it to something relevant to your question. Otherwise, nobody will read it.

As a pp said, you could also ask MNHQ to move it to Higher Education - or just start a new thread there.

Thank you very much for your advice. I actually noticed my mistake and started a new thread immediately after posting. I tried to delete this one but I dont think it worked.
