Xavarian MDV programme

Is anybody familiar with this? The website says they need ALL subjects to be grade 7. Dd did MFL two years early and got a 6 so we are worried about it. She should get 7 or above in everything else most importantly the subjects she’s going to do at A level. Sciences will be an 8 or 9 if she performs as well as she has done so far. It’s veterinary medicine she hopes to do at uni.

Is she going to one of the taster days next month? MDV is one of the optional extras in the afternoon so she could ask then.

She’s already been to a taster day and we attended the MDV session at the open day but I don’t recall all 7s being mentioned. I’m hoping someone with experience will be along to clarify. If not then college will be open on Monday and I’ll contact them.

Just update they have said Dd has a strong profile and that mostly 7s will be fine. They tell them all 7s to give them impetus to do their best. The 6 in MFL doesn’t matter.
