booking holiday before start uni

hi what's the usual start date for uni (i.e. 2025) as trying to book a holiday before DD starts (fingers crossed re results day)? Her top choice / offer says 20/9/25.

but clearing may be a possibility so not sure when does the first term usually start?

also I am assuming as long as DD has internet access she can deal with any admin regards uni offer or clearing even if on hols?

Depends, Scottish unis are the first or second weekend of September, English third weekend onwards.

@LIZS thanks - English - that should work as possible holiday date is first week of September. DD would be going with family and they are kindly going earlier to accommodate her.
