Resitting some IB subjects

DD was disappointed with her IB score and has considering resisting a couple of subjects in November. She is having a gap year and isn’t applying to university till next year. How do university’s view resists? Would it be a disadvantage for her?
thanks

She should probably take advice from the college counsellor. Ours said only retake a max of two. Maybe use the new UCAS function on courses she is interested in that shows the grades accepted by the university for that particular course. This will give her an idea of what is possible with her current mark.

Totally depends on the uni and subject I’m afraid but broadly it’s fine. She should just double check with the places she’s interested in.
