Appeal A level Result

DD has until Monday to decide if she should appeal A Level English Literature grade.

She had an 8 at GCSE, moved school and they have predicted a B all through, in last parents evening they were saying pushing an A.

Awarded C.

Went through the initial check with the school, basically checking the adding up and still found to be a C.

She got in her second choice uni and is happy, but there is a niggling doubt that her grade doesn’t reflect the level she was working at.

She has tried to discuss with the school and they have just said their aim isn’t to limit their students. Confused

We have been backwards and forwards as obviously don’t want to shift to a D!!

Anyone have a view?

Hey, I am with a bit of a similar situation with gcse results, but did not appeal. Not too sure what action I will take that would benefit DC.

Your children have to decide to appeal, not parents. It’s up to them.

Deadline is over.

Not all children are assertive, especially after the school was unhelpful though the whole process.
