Hello,
Just wondered if anyone with experience could confirm how it works with a child leaving further education before the end of the course and child benefit.
Would the parent need to inform the child benefit agency or would the college notify they are no longer in attendance?
Can't seem to find a definite answer and I've had conflicting info. TIA

I think the onus is on you the parent to let them know. Certainly if you were found to be claiming when you shouldn't you would have to pay it all back.

Thank you, it's not me fortunately but I think it might be something along those lines
