Robert Halfon is local to me. He is awful monkey. He may appear to care but he doesn't. He would make himself very unpopular very rapidly with teachers and that does matter. He is also wont to employ ridiculous hyperbole.

Ooh I'm not sure, Dd would eat pasta, bread, and noodles in one dish any day of the week...she is 5ft 3 and a size 4-6.. I only have to look at a chip and I'm up a dress size

It was a baked feta and tomato dish that then gets mixed into pasta. Everyone was uploading versions to Tikertock(i call it that to wind up Dd) in truth it is really really salty and not all that clever.

NZ is a former education junior minister

He has the ability to engage across all stakeholders well, has decent level of intelligence, and holds his nerve well with media. Yes, I know his public school background may be off-putting to some, but he will grasp the challenges with the sector (all parts of the education sector) quickly. I like him.

I imagine a lot of people were very sleep deprived earlier this year so I’m going to let him off with that one (partly as kind of thing I would say !), am going to remain hopeful until proven otherwise. I should know better, it’s the hope things may change for the better and the inevitable disappointment when they don’t but I live in hope.

Not disputing any of those Piggy, and of course major media f* ups rightly stick. I guess when there is so little evidence of ministers that have the ability to grasp the challenges of reform, let’s face it, major reform of a sector where the injustices are going to take years to play out, I think he is one of the few (in my humble opinion) that could be up to the job, albeit has had bad days/not absorbed his data or communicated well to date. On balance, for me, he’s done better than most...
