Hello

We are looking at doing A-levels at 6th Form (currently doing OIB in France).

If we could move anywhere in the UK, which one would you recommend?

Very many thanks!

Winchester might be a good choice. Peter Symonds get very good results and I know friends speak highly of it. For slightly artier students, the nearby Barton Peveril is also good (and they are good for academic subjects too).

Winchester for Peter Symonds or Cambridge for Hills Road and Long Road. If it is academic sixth form you are looking for.

I should Symonds has a very wide catchment - boast it is the biggest in the country ( being sixth form for the Falklands does affect that). But students travel from all over Hampshire and West Berkshire to Symonds.

Thanks so much!

Another one for Peter Symonds. As an ex student I have to say it is fab. Also blends secondary school and university together. I definitely think I was better prepped for a university teaching and study environment by Symonds. It has a big campus and loads of subjects. As previous poster said it is also the college for the Falklands so has two boarding houses for boarders on site
