OU access course Y032- anyone recommend?

Hi I’ve been looking at this course as an introduction prior to returning to studying. Has anyone done this recently? Lots of mixed reviews on internet from a few years ago. Thanks

Not done it, but my son is meant to be starting it this year, he's 17 and been out of mainstream education since year 10, will be interested to hear if anyone has done it.
