Hi, just looking for some general advice.

I am going to college in september to do a access to higher education course
i have enrolled but they have sent me a essential skills test to take.

i think the scoring goes from entry 3, 2, 1 to level 1, 2, 3 if i dont do well on these Ill have to do another year in college as a foundation gateway course before going on the access course.

my question is hoping someone knows more about this than i do what entry/level do i need to not go on the foundation course and just start on the access course?

any help would be fab!

Level 1 is equivalent to GCSE grade 3 and below Level 2 is equivalent to GCSE grade 4 and above, Level 3 is equivalent to A Levels.
Entry Level quals are pre GCSE level

Pressed post too soon then
Access course would be equivalent to Level 3 so to access it straight away then you need Level 2 or 3 but it will depend on how your English and Maths skills are hence the essential skills test
