Going back to uni

Like most other university students DS has been at home since the middle of March. There have been challenges but on the whole I have absolutely loved it. Now he is talking about going back to university a little bit early to see his friends and settle in.

He also has managed to get a job in his university town. Aside from the coronavirus issues - Which is another subject altogether –I am not looking forward to it. I have really loved having him around and will miss him. I know that they need to get on with their lives and I know this it's a good thing but it just feels like the first year all over again and I just hate being sad.

I know the feeling and have every sympathy with you, it will be hard, but you got through the first year and you can do it again, keep in touch and face time lots, that helped me greatly.
I am looking into wether my daughter who is renting a flat from next month after being in halls, is entitled to any kind of discount with electric suppliers eg warm home discount but I’m not getting very far . Good luck and take care

Thank you x444. I will be fine but it's just that sadness/missing him that I know is coming up.
