Help with A level PE

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 05/02/2020 17:09

Dd is doing her A level PE

Apparently she has to do a presentation with about 8 minutes on strengths and weakness’s and 12 minutes on the action plan

She says that after about 8 minutes and 12 minutes that the examiner stops marking and that her strengths bit is up at 17 minutes and she is finding it impossible to shorten

Her teacher is not particularly forthcoming with advice and has in effect caused dd to lengthen her presentation

Is there anyone on her who teaches or marks A level PE that could explain this oart of the exam to me and offer any pointers

Thanks

If she’s over double the time on strengths she needs to dial it way back.

Focus on three key strengths to start with and see if there are any linked strengths she can tie in. Try to reduce it to three points on each strength.

If she has eight minutes to discuss strengths and weaknesses, she really only has four minutes to talk about strengths. So three strengths with three points on each should be roughly the right amount.

Her pe teacher told her to put more detail in and has said what she’s got is now very good...but now its too blooming long!
