RAF training

My daughter (an RAF cadet) has announced that she does not want to go to university but instead wants to join the RAF (possibly to train as a pilot) at Cranwell. I have looked at the educational criteria for admission which look fairly low (4 GCSE and 2 Alevels)
Has anyone experience of a DC applying for this training and how difficult or otherwise it is to get accepted ?
Thanks

It is very difficult to get accepted. It is fiercly competitive, and despite the statement of the minimum to join, it's almost entirely graduates in practice.

If however she is interested in many other roles (except th engineering or other professionally qualified) as non-officer, then she stands a much better chance, and of course for th apprenticeships.

Has she been in to talk to a careers office? What did the role, finder suggest?
