Yes. A friend’s DD went there. They were overseas and DD started at Kings College London but didn’t like her academic English degree so swapped to Event Management at Regents University. She then did a law conversion course which led to nothing. If you are a home student I cannot see why you would pay such high fees when the state universities are better and cheaper.

It attracts overseas students but not the high flyers I think! I definitely wouldn’t compare it to Kings, UCL or LSE or indeed many others in terms of world recognition and quality. I’m not sure it features in any quality tables or reviews and is more like a big school in Regents Park. It seems to be for rich kids who don’t want, or need, much of a career. There are many, many, better options.

Is DC interested in it?

Regents College used to be Bedford College, part of University of London before the college was merged with Royal Holloway and the lovely buildings in Regents Park sold off. This all happened mud 1980s.

DH was there at the time it closed. Was not impressed to be told halfway through his course that he was being shipped out to Egham Angry

Does that anecdote help OP decide what to do in 2020?

The OP hasn't actually posted anything in 8 weeks, so perhaps we'll never know? The historical note regarding university mergers may have been of interest to someSmile.
