Hi can anyone help me please?
My daughter had her annual review of her EHCP June 2018 because of her ill health we had been warned by college LEA removing one-to one provision from ill children who had only 70percent attendance. We attended expecting problems. No one from LEA attended however. The college co ordinator attended and recommended she really needed her EHCP redone as her health needs had changed and the EHCP very poorly written. We left it with them. Contacted by college last week told daughter hasn't had her one-to-one funded by LEA and they'd provided out of own resources and they can't continue. Following up found her EHCP review hadn't been done by LEA. Complained to LEA they've blamed college said not submitted paperwork properly arranged a meeting and then cancelled it. We've complained to college who've said have done everything asked of them and been trying to chase them but not got far. so dumbfounded I can't properly put into words the stress I feel this whole situation is negligent and she has been discriminated against and that her rights under the ehcp have been stripped from her. she should never have been put in this situation and I feel I've really let her down. she is now 19 and has complex neurological and health problems. I would be very grateful for input. Thank you for reading this.
