Retaking my GCSE

Hiya everyone.

Does anyone know how I can go about retaking my GCSEs? Just basic maths and English. I'm 30 next year and I'm fed up of being help back because I haven't got any GCSEs. I know it all but on paper I need proof.

Thanks!

Do it! Maths and English are free. Your local Adult Learning Centre should run them but they probably won't have GCSEs starting till September. Our service would discourage you from doing both in the same year as it is a huge undertaking, but it is doable.

Good luck!

Hi, I’m 23 soon and I’m currently undertaking English and maths GCSE at the local college. They have adult GCSE classes and there are people much older than you are in my class. It’s never too late to better yourself at the end of the day! The adult GCSE classes are one evening a week for 3 hours. Pretty good!

Good luck! Try applying now at your local college. I had to do an entrance exam for both courses. It wasn’t hard at all, very easy and basic in fact. Other colleges are probably different.
