Anyone applied to Cambridge from abroad? We are in the US and DD is thinking of applying to Cambridge to do Maths. She's just finished her junior year here.

Cambridge Maths is really very selective. Is your DD right at the very top of her year group? Does she do a lot of extra curricular and enrichment maths?

I would see if MNHQ could alter your post title. I think that applying from abroad varies a lot depending on which country you come from and what course you want to apply for i.e. first degree or postgraduate and which subject.
Could you change it to applying from the US?

Yes, very much so - it's almost ridiculous how much math she studies at school! But she's decided she's focusing on US colleges. I feel a mix of relief and a little sadness (I'm from the UK and have family in Cambridge so it would have been lovely for her to go there).

Thank you for answering.

Sorry - changed my username since the original post, but I'm the same poster - couldn't resist a new username when I got my new Stupomax migraine meds :-)
