My 17 yr old DS is doing a BTEC extended diploma at FE college and has the opportunity to go to Italy in March for a month's work experience via the EU's Erasmus VET (vocational education and training) scheme.It sounds amazing - fully funded and you stay with a local family. Does anyone have any experience of this scheme with their DCs and if so, how did it go and what did they get from it?
