Research philosophy question

Hi

I’m doing my masters research proposal for dissertation. Does anyone know if it’s ok to have a deductive approach, collected quantitative and qualitative data and have an interpretivist approach? Does this make sense?

It would depend very much on the discipline. The best person to speak to would be your personal tutor. Drop them an email. I am surprised that you have not discussed your approach as part of a tutorial anyway.

Good luck, enjoy your research
