Medicine application for 2016

Hi all my DD is applying for medicine and so far has ticked the right boxes for all the grades including a good UKCAT score of 800. What are the risks involved in applying to BMAT universities considering that she does not know what her score will be and will be wasting one or two of her four valuable choices

From personal experience, apply to a BMAT university.

An average of 800 is fantastic considering the average is 600. I had an average of 712.5 which was good enough for any medical school, but I decided to aim for the stars with one of my options and apply for UCL (a BMAT university).

I did not do as well on my BMAT, scoring just above average, but I got the UCL interview and was accepted.

Of course it is a risk, but risks often pay off great rewards. It's worth using up at least one option on a BMAT university in my opinion.

I am now in my 4th year of medical school and run a tutoring agency, in fact we have a tutor that specialises in the BMAT, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
