If things go to plan, we will get our first placement in October!
We've been matched with two brothers and we're really exited also really scared ! This is normal right? Please tell me you went through the "what am I doing? Can we cope? Are we mad?" stage.
Even though we've talked to our SW yesterday and have arranged to go to a planning meeting next week, I'm still a bit nervous of things changing and that they won't need us. I'm on a roller coaster, but, I don't want to get off!

Yup I think you are totally normal, the longer I am sat on the couch waiting for a placement the more scared I get - well it's either normal or we are both abnormal LOL

Fingers crossed that you planning meeting goes well and you have 2 little house guests soon - how old are they?

5yrs and 1yrs. My youngest is 10 so it's been a while since we've had a baby.

LOL - I am not sure that people who know me would think being as normal as me would be a good thing - a friend read something wrong - but did think that I would actually fly to America to get a new kitten........actually 2 friends thought this LOL

I know that it is a good thing that I haven't yet had the call as it means that there isn't a baby in need of being accommodated - but it doesn't stop me feeling miffed or down about it. So I can't even imagine how it feels to actually have 2 little ones in mind for moving in and then be told that no they probably won't be moving in.

I can't speak for the other lovely ladies, but I am sorry you are stuck with me, no matter what your name is changed to - as long as it ins't SquidgyBrainSmells or the like......actually scrap that you are stuck with me ;)

I should really change my name too - this stupid one was a in hiding name and I just haven't changed it back
