Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on fostering.

How long should I wait for social worker to contact me?

I posted on here previously about the possibility of fostering my cousins who are currently living in Wales.

The social worker advised me to seek legal advice and said that she would contact me with more details about the children's welfare as soon as she had recieved a letter from my solicitor stating my interest in the children.

The letter was faxed over to her on thursday 11th March and as yet I have had no reply.

Should I just keep waiting or should I phone her to see how things are going?

Im not sure how fast social workers move in these cases.

Thanx

Pink

Social services, IMO, aren't known for hurrying.

I can't see any harm in giving them a quick call.

I would call her pink. It can't do any harm

Call her

Ok, thank you. I didn't want to hound them but will give them a call in the morning and see what is going on.
