New lo may be coming

We were asked to take a newborn baby a few weeks ago. At the time I was so down after our last lo left that I wasn't sure I could open myself up again.

I said yes but I really wasn't sure. It looks like baby may be here in the next day or so.

My first reaction is one of excitement and I'm hoping that means I'm ready.

Baby is here, born this morning. She is beautiful

I'm not sure exactly how long of course but it shouldn't be very long as she will be going for adoption we think.

She had a good night but is taking very little milk and seems a little chesty. Midwife will call today so I'll mention it to her.

Dh was at work when I collected her from hospital and although he knew we had agreed to have this lo he didn't know when, I sent him a pic from my mobile and he was as thrilled as me
