Do foster carers have to own their own housing?

I know of two people that are foster carers and one is in council the other in housing association housing. So I would assume not.

Exactly, you can live in any kind of property - private rented, owned, housing association, local authority - as long as the landlords are ok with it.

We are foster carers and live in a housing association house.
