Hurrah! We did it!

Today was our panel meeting and we are now approved!

We are so excited, just thought i would share with you

Well done, bet you have a child by the end of the week (we had one the next day!)

I mean this in the nicest way, hopefully we shouldn't. I know i am going to have be strong but there is already a child in mind for us on a permenant basis but we are hopefully going to start with respite care for the lad first to make sure the match is right for uss. We have asked for a child with addittional needs, and we have our own DS 6 who also has addittional medical needs. So it is imperative to get it right.

lol at the fact they have already 'matched' you - that's what they did with us. She has now been with us a year and will be with us til 18 probably.

Good idea to have him for respite first - hope it goes well.
