Hello

I have been a Kinship Carer for my twin nephews for 6 years, they are now almost 10! We are currently in the process of an SGO just amending documents before we can get a court date.

The last few months i have been having what myself and GP think are Gallstone attacks and i am booked in for an ultrasound to confirm this is January.

I have a meeting tomorrow with the my Fostering Supervisor and i am worried about telling him incase it may jeopardise my SGO. It has taken years to get to this stage in the SGO and i am scared it will make a set back when we are so close to the finish.

Should i be honest and tell them or should i just keep it to myself because the surgery probably wont be for a year and I'm sure the SGO will be granted by then.

Thanks

Hello sorry you haven’t had any replies. Did you manage to raise this with your Fostering Supervisor? Hopefully you got the answer you needed!
