From Foster Care to Shared Lives

Has anyone moved from being a Foster Parent to being a Shared Lives Carer for the same young person but just due to them turning 18?
I have always been lead to believe that it would be a Staying Put arrangement but recently learned that due to her additional needs it would be Shared Lives which is for adults with disabilities.
I want to know what this means for me? Will it mean I am not able to work full time (like as in Fostering) as I was planning to go back to work full time (which you can do with Staying Put)
Has anyone had this situation?

@f0stercarer thanks for the link. There was definitely things in there that I was not aware of ! Unfortunately, it did not cover my responsibilities / expectations regarding work though?
