Hi there. I am at the very beginning of this process. I have my screening phone call on Monday.
Has anyone else on here signed up for this. May be called something different in different local authorities but it is the program where you give up a spare room to a care leaver between 17-20 and agree to help them become independent. Teaching to cook basic meals, budget, negotiate transport etc.
Would appreciate stories of your experience.
